Like decaf coffee, pure vanilla is all about subtle energy: calming, grounding, and comforting without the buzz. Both come from plants that blooms into white little flowers. Both plants need insane dedication to grow, harvest, and process. Both hold rich, layered flavors you can’t rush or fake. And both deserve to be treated with the same respect we give to our favorite specialty coffees.
This is a celebration rooted in mindfulness, growth and gratitude. So here’s to two years of slowing down, savoring more, and choosing the real over the rushed.

Vanilla planifolia: the real MVP behind true vanilla flavour, is an orchid species native to Mexico but now grown around the world in tropical climates, including Malaysia. This is also the second most expensive spices in the world.
What makes it legendary isn’t just the flavour or price, it’s the biology. Each flower blooms for just one day and must be hand-pollinated within 12 hours to produce a bean, making cultivation incredibly labour-intensive. After harvest, the beans undergo a long curing process, during which natural enzymatic reactions develop the complex flavor compounds. One key molecule is vanillin (C8H8O3), but real vanilla contains over 250 other aromatic compounds that contribute to its rich, layered taste — something artificial vanilla (which is 95% synthetic vanillin) simply can’t replicate.
Unlike lab-made substitutes, vanilla planifolia brings together smoky, woody, floral, and creamy notes, all balanced naturally by the plant’s own chemistry.
